Redefining flexibility: The multipurpose transport cabin
The multipurpose transport cabin for Leitwolf and Bison was recently presented at Mountain Planet in Grenoble - the largest international gathering of mountain professionals in France.
At Mountain Planet from April 16-18, the multipurpose transport cabin for Leitwolf and Bison was presented alongside the X Blade. It was developed for two main purposes - transporting people and transporting material. This means it can be used for a wide range of applications, for example as a shuttle or for excursions for tourists and rescue operations. The tiller, blade and track setters are all still usable when the transport cabin is mounted. This means that the snow groomer can prepare slopes and cross-country tracks perfectly as usual, even with the transport cabin.
For passengers. When designing the cabin, the focus was on both safety and comfort. The safety belts, ROPS certification, the auto-stop function when the door is opened and the intercom system between the operator and passengers ensure maximum safety for everyone. The air conditioning and heating (both optional) ensure the perfect temperature inside. Two sliding roofs and a window allow the air to circulate as desired. To ensure unforgettable experiences, passengers can enjoy the impressive scenery through the panoramic windows, while a sound system provides a fun atmosphere. The transport cabin can take up to 15 guests with their skis and snowboards to the top of the mountain in style.
Material and rescue. With its foldable benches, the transport cabin has a huge capacity of 11.3 m³, making it easy to transport equipment and supplies. Functions such as the reversing camera support the operator to ensure not only safe driving forwards but also in reverse. In addition, the cab has a fixation point inside for a rescue sled to quickly and safely reach and transport people in need of medical assistance.
